Requesting a Refund
If a purchased file won't open, is missing a format you paid for, or you bought the wrong tier, email support with your receipt attached (or forwarded) and the format(s) you expected. We'll resend the correct file or refund the order.
Common Questions
- What's free vs. what do I pay for?
- Free: unlimited design edits and a 480px white-background JPG with a visible watermark, no signup required. Paid ($2.5–$3.5 depending on the format bundle): a full-resolution, watermark-free export in PNG, SVG, and/or PDF.
- Does the free download have a watermark?
- Yes. The free JPG is capped at 480px and carries a watermark — it's meant for checking your layout, not for stamping real documents.
- Which format should I buy?
- PNG if you just need to stamp a digital file; add SVG if you're sending the design to a stamp maker or print shop to produce a physical stamp; add PDF if you want a ready-to-print sheet at true size.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. StampZen has no login — design, pay, and download by email link only.
- What if I paid for the wrong format, or the file won't open?
- Contact support with your order email or Stripe receipt and we'll resend the correct file or refund the order.
- Can I use a StampZen design commercially?
- Yes — once purchased, the exported file is yours to use on your own products, documents, or client work. It isn't a substitute for any legally required official seal (notary, court, government) where local rules govern that seal's exact wording or registration.
- Can I download a stamp without a watermark?
- Yes — every paid download is watermark-free. The free 480px JPG carries a visible watermark so you can test the design in place; the one-time purchase ($2.50–$3.50) unlocks the clean high-resolution PNG, SVG, and PDF files.
- What size should my stamp be?
- The editor defaults to 38 mm, the most common round self-inking plate size; round and square stamps can be set from 20 to 60 mm and rectangular stamps up to 90 mm wide. If you plan to order a physical stamp, design at the plate size you intend to buy.
- Can I re-download my files later?
- Yes. After payment you get an instant download plus an email link that stays valid for seven days, and you can re-download as many times as you need in that window. Lost the email? Contact support with your receipt and we'll resend it.
- Does the stamp maker work on a phone?
- Yes — the editor runs entirely in the browser, and the layout adapts to mobile: preview on top, controls below. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
- Is a digital stamp legally valid?
- It depends on the document and jurisdiction. As a visual mark on invoices, internal approvals, and correspondence, digital stamps are widely used. For notarization, government filings, or anywhere a statute specifies a seal, the issuing authority's rules decide — some accept electronic seals, others require a physical stamp. When in doubt, ask the receiving office.
