India seals cover the round and oval designs used by private limited companies, proprietorships, and authorized signatories across India for stamping invoices, contracts, and bank forms. Since the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015 removed the legal requirement for a company to hold a common seal, most of these designs today are practical business stamps rather than a mandatory corporate instrument — companies use them because clients and banks still expect to see one, not because the law demands it. Typical layout: company name arcing around the top rim, "Authorized Signatory" or a director's designation across the middle, and a CIN (Corporate Identification Number) or GSTIN along the bottom arc, often in a bilingual Hindi/English mix. Avoid recreating the Ashoka Lion Capital or other state emblems on a business stamp — the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950 restricts commercial use of official government insignia, so templates in this category stick to plain circular borders instead.
